That was 2001 and to their dismay, I loved it. I went back in March, 2002 to do as much in San Ignacio as possible, drop into Dangriga, and have a good 4-5 days on Caye Caulker. I then went back to San Ignacio, just to see the new friends in August, 2002. That was when I met a nice girl named Bartola. She refused to let me take her picture, I insisted, she said it was ok if I was in the picture. I emailed her hotel to book another trip in March, 2003, we became pen-pals and spent most of my March, 2003 trip together. I then discovered international calling cards $10 US for 50 minutes to Belize. I went back down in August, 2003, met the family, started discussing plans. I went back down in December, 2003 and bought a little house from Midwest Lumber that we had delivered to her parents property. In March 2004, we will be working on a kitchen (old concrete building), landscaping and will begin buying furniture and appliances. Whew! Please don't wake me up NOW!
